Executive Committee
The voting members of this committee are the President, the three Vice Presidents, the Secretary and the Treasurer; the President may appoint one additional Board member as a voting member with Board approval. The Executive Director and Immediate Past President are ex-officio members of this committee.
Fundraising Events Committee
Chaired by Liza Boubari this committee plans and implement short-term fundraising.
Board Development and Nominating Committee
This committee is chaired by Dr.Ilena J. Blicker.
Through the year, it is the charge of this committee to
identify prospective new board members and officers for
the coming year.

Community Development Committee
Co-chaired by Lindsey Horvath and Kim Millstien, this committee will develop strategies and partnerships for long-term funding. The committee will include several community volunteers who will assist in targeting corporate and individual donors who can provide sustaining support for the YWCA and its programs. This committee will also investigate the establishment of an endowment for the future financial viability of the Glendale YWCA. It will meet once per month on predetermined dates.
Historical Legacy Ad-Hoc Committee
Finance Committee
Chaired by Treasurer, Toni Beck this committee meets the third Thursday of each month, prior to the Board meetings. It is attended by the Finance Director, Executive Director and Finance Committee members to review monthly financial statements and prepare reports for Board consideration. They also participate in preparing the annual budget. The annual audit is done by outside auditors.
Personnel Committee
Chaired by Yerado Abrahamian, this committee meets on an ad-hoc basis to discuss personnel matters as they arise, and participates in the hiring of senior management personnel. This committee also coordinates Board participation in the annual Staff Holiday Party and the Client Holiday Party, both in December.
