When we started Camp Y in 2010, we knew this community and our clients needed an affordable day camp to send their kids to for the summer. A place where parents could trust that their children would be safe, learn, eat well and have fun.

This year, we brought camp to a whole new level. Our campers enjoyed swimming every day in our indoor pool, and many of our campers received swim lessons for the very first time, thanks to a generous grant from the National Charity League of Glendale.

We also partnered with Glendale Arts for the first time to bring musical theater to our camp. Ryan Nearhoff, Glendale Arts’ Music and Theater teacher, taught our campers theater, dance and music for four weeks. Below is a video and more photos about our program.

A huge thank you to the generous support of donors and organizations throughout Glendale for helping us provide scholarships to over 20 underserved children! None of this would have been possible without the support of Las Candelas, the National Charity League of Glendale and Glendale Kiwanis. Until next summer!
