The YWCA Glendale and Pasadena offers Girls Circle after school programming to girls from Glendale and Pasadena Unified School Districts in the 20/21 school year. The Girls Circle model is a structured support group for girls and youth who identify with female development, and integrates relational theory, resiliency practices, and skills training in a specific format designed to increase positive connection, personal and collective strengths, and competence in girls.
Audience: YWCA Glendale and Pasadena’s Girls Circle is open to girls ages 12-15 years old.
Schedule: Girls Circle will be offered once a week after school to girls in Pasadena Unified School District and once a week after school to girls in Glendale Unified School District, with circles beginning on September 8th, 2020. Glendale Girls Circle will be held on Tuesdays 3:30PM-5:30PM and Pasadena Girls Circle will be held on Thursdays 3:30-5:30PM.
